We have been here at Sc1/17-18 in the Kohinoor Estate for quite some time now. Most people know the spot because it is right near Bajaj Garden on the Pune-Mumbai Road. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always noise from the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle the daily imports and exports. Some days are slower than others. We usually start early before the heat gets too bad. Being on this main road helps with getting things moved around, even if the jams can be a headache in the evenings. Most of us have worked here for years. We know the local chai wallahs and the other business owners in the estate. It's just a regular workplace. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, files, and phones that never stop ringing. We just focus on getting the paperwork right and making sure the boxes get where they need to go. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it. It’s a lot of routine work, checking lists and talking to drivers. If you are driving down from Mumbai, you probably pass us without even noticing the sign. That is okay with us, as long as the work gets done.
