Corvee Foundation

We’re located in Ashwini Apartment, specifically in Flat No 1. It’s right in the Parvati area of Pune, which is usually quite a busy neighborhood. Working out of an apartment means things are a bit tight sometimes, but it works for what we do at Corvee Foundation. You’ll find us at Plot No 17/6 if you’re looking for the place. It’s not some big glass office building like you see in the movies. It’s just a regular residential space where we’ve set up our computers and files. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear the street noise coming in through the windows. We started this because we saw things in the community that needed a bit of help. We don’t have a massive team or a huge budget to work with. Most days involve sitting around the table drinking tea and planning out what to do next. It’s pretty quiet usually, except when we have a project deadline coming up. We try to keep things organized, but there’s always a pile of papers somewhere that needs sorting. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small foundation from a flat. We like being in Parvati because it feels like a real community. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and try to make things run a bit smoother for the people we’re helping in Maharashtra.
