Controltech Instruments

If you find yourself walking down Forjet Street in Chinchwad, you might notice our sign for Controltech Instruments at 126/18/A. It is a bit of an older building but it suits us just fine for the work we do. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with different tools and parts scattered across the workbenches. We spend a lot of our hours looking at small components and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It can get pretty quiet when everyone is focused on a specific task. We have a small kettle in the back for tea because it gets a bit chilly in the mornings before the sun hits the street. There is always a lot of dust that comes in from the road so we are constantly wiping down the benches. Sometimes people get lost trying to find the exact number on the street since the numbering is a bit strange around here. We just tell them to look for the door near the corner. It's not a flashy office or anything like that. We have some heavy metal shelves against the walls that hold all the spare parts we’ve collected over the years. Some of those boxes haven't been moved in a long time. It’s a practical space where we get things done. We usually leave the door propped open a bit if it's not too hot outside.
