Our place is at No. 29 and 30 in the Cooperative Industrial Estate in Gultekdi. This part of Pune has been an industrial hub for a long time, and we’ve been here in the middle of it. We deal with hoists, which means we spend a lot of time around heavy metal, chains, and motors. The workshop is big because the equipment we handle is bulky. It’s not a quiet environment; there is always the sound of metal clanking or something being tested. We focus on the mechanical side of things, making sure everything is put together right. The industrial estate has its own feel, with a lot of small businesses working side by side. We often go over to the neighbors if we need a specific bolt or a bit of help with a heavy lift. It’s a community of makers and fixers. Our office is just a small corner of the building, mostly filled with manuals and technical drawings. We don't put much effort into making it look pretty because the real work happens out on the floor. It’s greasy and loud, but that’s what a hoist business is like. We show up, do the work, and head home. There aren't any fancy slogans here, just people who know how to put together a lifting machine that works. Most of us have been doing this for years, so it's just second nature now.
