Comprehend India Foundation

Our office is located in Viman Nagar, right there in the Shalimar Triumph building on the first floor. It is a busy part of Pune, being near Lohgaon and the airport. We started this foundation because we felt there was a lot to be done around here. We aren't a giant corporation, just a few people trying to understand things better and help where we can. The office is usually full of files and notes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who live nearby. It's a regular workspace, nothing too flashy. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but we just keep working through it. We handle a lot of the paperwork and the day-to-day stuff from room 101. It’s been an interesting journey since we set up shop in this building. People come to us with different needs, and we try to listen. We don't have fancy brochures or a big marketing team. We just focus on the work that needs to be finished today. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. It feels like a local effort. We are just trying to be a part of the community here in Pune. Some days are slow, and some are incredibly packed with meetings, but that is just how it goes when you are running a foundation in a city like this. It is a lot of work, but we like it.
