Our shop is at 98 A/1 in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate. We are tucked behind Kirloskar Numatick in the Navrangpura section. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to it. We have been working with machine tools for a long time. The workshop is full of heavy iron and steel parts. It’s a bit oily on the floor sometimes, so you have to watch your step. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is just laid out where it fits. We spend our days tinkering with machines and making sure everything is running right. It’s noisy and sometimes the smell of grease is quite strong. That’s just the nature of the work. Most of us here have grease under our fingernails most of the time. We aren't much for talking fancy. If someone asks for a tool, we find it and show them how it works. We don't have a big staff, just a few guys who know their way around an engine or a lathe. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to it. It’s a basic life, but we like it. We’ve known our neighbors for years and we all help each other out when a machine breaks down or someone needs a hand lifting something heavy. It's just a regular industrial shop where stuff gets fixed.
