Codesustain Green Living India Foundation

Our foundation, Codesustain Green Living India, is located in Lohgaon, specifically at Mystique Moods in Building H. We’re in Flat 203, which is where everything happens. Lohgaon is a growing area, and being here feels like we’re right in the middle of all the new stuff happening in Pune. We started this because we really cared about how we were living and wanted to see if we could help others think about things like waste and nature, even in an apartment. Our place is full of plants, some of which are doing better than others. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working home where we test out ideas and store our supplies. We spend a lot of time on the balcony or at the dining table working on our laptops. It gets a bit messy with all the materials we keep around for our projects. Sometimes the neighbors ask what we are doing with all the compost or the weird containers, and we just explain it as best as we can. We don’t have a big team or fancy equipment. It’s just a few of us trying to live a bit better and sharing that with anyone who is interested. The building is usually full of kids playing and people coming back from work, so it feels very alive. We like being part of a regular housing society while we do our work.
