Cic Engineers

We run Cic Engineers out of an apartment space in Pashan. It’s in the Shivalya Housing Society on Sus Road. It’s a bit unusual having an engineering firm in a residential building, but it works for us. We use one of the rooms as a main office and the other for storage. It’s quiet here, which is nice compared to the main road. Most of our work involves site visits anyway, so we aren't in the office all day. We do a lot of drawings and planning on the big table in the living room area. There's always a stack of papers and half-empty water bottles lying around. My partner and I handle everything ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or fancy furniture. The balcony has some plants that we keep forgetting to water. Pashan is a good area, and being near the highway makes it easy to get to our clients. Sometimes the neighbors ask what we're doing with all the rolls of paper. We just explain we're doing some design work. It’s a simple setup. We don't need much space to do what we do. We’ve been here for a couple of years now. It feels like home more than an office. We just take it one project at a time and try to stay on top of the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming, but we manage to get through it eventually.
