Sealtech Engineers

Over at Plot No. 29/4 in the D-11 Block of MIDC Chinchwad, that’s where Sealtech Engineers is based. Being in Pune, specifically in the Chinchwad area, means we are surrounded by all kinds of engineering firms, so there’s a lot of shared knowledge around here. Our shop is where we spend most of our time, usually covered in a bit of grease or metal shavings. We deal with seals and engineering parts that have to be just right, or else they won’t work for the machines they go into. It’s slow, careful work sometimes, and other times it’s a mad rush to finish a repair. The office is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a lot of old catalogs and invoices. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We’re just a bunch of guys who understand how machines fit together. Lunch breaks usually happen together, often just getting some food from a nearby stall or sharing what we brought from home. Chinchwad can be loud and dusty, especially with all the construction and traffic, but it’s a good place for a business like ours. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. If someone brings us a part to fix or needs a specific seal, we just look at it, tell them if we can do it, and then get to work. That’s how we’ve always done things here, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the whole year.
