Hallasidhanath Electricals

We are over at Shop No. 21, Plot No. 122/6 in the G. M. C. Association building. Our shop is in Purananagar, which is quite close to the RTO in Chinchwad. Pune traffic is always something else, and we hear the horns all day from the main road. The shop is full of electrical stuff like switches, wires, and fuse boxes. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because we have so many different types of fittings and we try to keep them all in one place. We spend a lot of time talking to electricians who come in with a list of things they need for a house they are working on. We have to climb up the ladder a lot to reach the boxes on the top shelves. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a working man’s shop. The walls are a plain color and we have a big desk where we write down the tallies. Most days involve unloading crates or checking the inventory to see if we ran out of a certain gauge of wire. Living and working in Chinchwad means you get to know the other shop owners around the Plot No. 122/6 area. We usually have tea together in the afternoons when things slow down for a minute before the evening rush starts.
