Garware-Wall Ropes Ltd.

Garware-Wall Ropes is located at Plot No. 11 in Block D-1 of the MIDC area. It’s a pretty large spot because we need the room for all the ropes and materials we handle. If you walk through the facility, you’ll see big spools of yarn and heavy machinery that twists everything together. The MIDC is always loud with the sounds of other factories, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We have a lot of people working here in different shifts. Some are watching the machines, while others are packing things into crates for shipping. It’s a very practical environment. There aren't many decorations on the walls, just some safety posters and calendars. We spend a lot of time checking the thickness of the lines and making sure the knots are right. It’s the kind of work that requires you to pay attention, even when it gets repetitive. In the canteen, the talk is usually about cricket or family stuff during the lunch break. We don’t try to act like we are some big shot corporate entity even though we’ve been around for a while. We are just a group of people making ropes in an industrial park. The trucks come in and out of the gate all day, taking our stuff to places we’ve never even been. It’s a strange thought, but we just focus on the task right in front of us at the plot. It keeps us going.
