Ramkrishna Industries

We've been over here at Gat No. 769 in Kudalwadi for a while now. It's a busy area in Chikhali, and our shed, Shed No. 1, is right where the action is. Most days you'll find us just getting on with the work. We started out small, just a few people trying to make a living in Pune, and it stayed that way for a bit. There’s always noise from the machines and people moving stuff around. The shop floor is usually dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see us in our work clothes. Sometimes things get hectic, especially when we have a lot of orders to get through before the weekend. We just focus on the job at hand. It's not always pretty, and sometimes the machines act up, but we fix them and keep going. The neighborhood here is full of workshops just like ours. We know most of the guys around Chikhali. It’s a tight-knit spot. We just try to do what we’re supposed to do and get home to our families. People around here know where to find us if they need something done. We don't do much talking, mostly just working. That’s how it's always been at Ramkrishna Industries since we set up shop in this part of Pune. It works for us.
