Chetak Auto Spares

Chetak Auto Spares is situated in Shop 11 of the Shradha Regency building. We are right in Wanworie, directly opposite Kedari Garden. It is actually a nice view to have across the street, especially when the garden is green and full of people in the evenings. Our shop is basically walls of shelves from top to bottom. We have boxes of every size containing different parts for all sorts of vehicles. Half the time is spent looking through catalogs or climbing ladders to find a specific gasket or a spark plug. It is a bit of a maze in here sometimes. People come in with parts that are rusted or broken, asking if we have a replacement. We do not have a fancy computer system that does everything; a lot of it is just knowing what we have in stock and where it is hidden. Wanworie is a busy neighborhood, so there is a constant flow of mechanics and DIY guys coming through. We do not do any of the fixing ourselves, we just provide the bits and pieces needed to get a car or bike back on the road. It is a straightforward business. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Mondays, the counter gets covered in open boxes and grease marks. We enjoy being across from the garden, as it makes the work day feel a little less frantic.
