Changs Chinese Restaurant

The place in Viman Nagar Sector 22-B has been our second home for quite a while now. We opened up Changs Chinese Restaurant because we liked the idea of having a spot in Chandigarh 7 where people could just sit and eat without much fuss. Most mornings start early with chopping vegetables and getting the sauces ready. It is a bit loud in the kitchen usually. We have a few small tables and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to it. The street outside gets pretty busy in the evenings, but inside it stays mostly the same. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big team, just a few of us making sure the food gets out hot. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting right by the door and it gets a little crowded. We try to keep things moving. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular shopfront with a sign. We’ve seen a lot of people grow up in this neighborhood. Some kids who used to come with their parents now stop by on their own after work. It’s nice to see familiar faces. We just do what we do every day, hoping the stove stays lit and the ingredients are fresh. It’s a lot of hard work standing on your feet all day, but that is how it goes when you run a small food business like this one.
