Chalothinkare Foundation

Chalothinkare Foundation is based in a residential area of Pune. We are at Flat 302 in the A Building of Treadmark Life Society. The society covers several Gat numbers like 155, 157, and 171. Since we are in an apartment, it feels a lot more like a home than a business office. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our computers and all our files. There are four of us who spend most of our time here. It’s a quiet place, which is good when we need to focus on our projects. We don't have any big signs outside, just a small nameplate on the door so people know they’ve found the right flat. Finding the building can be a bit tricky if you've never been to the society before because it's quite large. We usually tell people to look for the A building near the main gate. Inside, there's always a pot of tea on the stove. We sit around the dining table to have our meetings. It’s not formal at all. We started this foundation because we wanted to get people thinking about local issues. We aren't experts with fancy titles. We are just citizens who decided to put our heads together. Our budget is small, so we have to be careful with every rupee. Most of our work is done through talking to people and organizing small events. It’s a slow process, but we keep at it every day. We just want to see things improve.
