Micron Industries

Our shop is at Plot No. A-15 in the MIDC area of Chakan. It’s a busy part of town with lots of trucks moving in and out all the time, which can be a bit of a headache. We moved into this spot a while ago because it was closer to where most of the work is happening. It’s a decent-sized space, but we’ve managed to fill it up with equipment and materials pretty quickly. Micron Industries is just a few of us trying to keep up with the orders that come in. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor. The air is thick with the smell of industrial work, and it can get quite loud when everything is running at once. We usually have a bit of a backlog, but we work through it as fast as we can. Chakan is a tough place to work sometimes because of the traffic and the heat, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to look at. If you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes, probably covered in some dust or grease. We just do the work and try to do it right the first time so no one is disappointed. It’s a simple operation, really. No big meetings or long speeches, just getting the jobs out the door so we can start on the next ones. That is our day in Pine.
