Carnation Auto (India)

You can find us at 80/2/A in Chinchwad. We are located quite near the JSPM College, so it’s easy for most people to spot the turn. At Carnation Auto (India), we have a fairly large workshop where we handle all sorts of car repairs. The floor is made of thick concrete and it’s seen a lot of use over the years. We have several bays for cars, and there is always something being worked on, from old hatchbacks to newer models. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of impact wrenches and engines revving up. We have a small area in the front where customers can stand and talk to us, but it’s not a fancy lounge. We have a lot of spare parts kept on high shelves that we reach with an old ladder. The staff is a small crew of guys who really know their way around a gearbox. We start our day when the sun is coming up and we usually stay until the last car is sorted out. The neighborhood is mostly students and other small shops. We get our tea from a stall just down the road. It’s a practical place where we focus on the task at hand. We don't have any polished marketing stuff around. We just work on the vehicles and keep the shop running as best as we can every day. It’s mostly just hard work and getting our hands dirty.
