Career Forum

We’ve been running Career Forum out of number 3 on Kalbadevi Road in Erandwane for quite a while. It’s an old part of town, and our office feels like it’s been here forever. The rooms are high-ceilinged and sometimes a bit drafty, but it’s home to us. We have plenty of books and old exam papers stacked on the shelves. It’s a place for studying and thinking. People come here when they are trying to figure out their next move in life. We don’t have fancy gadgets or high-tech screens everywhere. It’s mostly just tables, chairs, and pens. We like the simplicity of it. Kalbadevi Road is always full of life, and you can hear the sounds of the street from the front windows. It keeps us grounded. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just provide a space for people to learn. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we just keep going. The staff here has been around for years. We know the regular students and their families. It’s a small-scale operation, and that’s how we like it. We don't have a big marketing budget. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business. We take things one day at a time and try to be useful to the people who walk through our door.
