We’ve been here at Plot No. 22 in the Bhosari Laxmi Industrial Estate for a good number of years now. Carbtools India Pvt Ltd is just a small outfit where we focus on cutting tools and inserts. The shop floor is usually a bit messy with boxes waiting to be shipped out. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just metal shelves and some old desks where we do the billing. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea or arguing over a technical drawing. The area around here gets really busy in the mornings with all the trucks. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking, but we make it work. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been with us since the start. We know our way around a lathe and a milling machine, so we understand what the customers are talking about. It’s not always easy keeping everything in stock, especially when the suppliers are late. We just do our best to get the right tools to the people who need them. My hands are usually stained with a bit of oil by the end of the day. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Bhosari community. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just us trying to stay busy and keep the machines running. We hope the rain doesn't leak through the roof this year.
