Empress Botanical Garden

Empress Botanical Garden is located in the Camp area, right near the Race Course. It is one of those places that has been around forever. We spend our time looking after the plants and making sure the grounds are kept in decent shape for anyone who wants to visit. Being near the Race Course means it is a well-known part of town. The garden is quite big, and there is always something that needs pruning or watering. We have a small staff of gardeners and people who help manage the entrance. It is not like a corporate office at all; most of our work happens outside in the dirt and the sun. We have a lot of different trees and flowers, and we try to keep track of everything, though sometimes the weeds get ahead of us. People come here to walk or just to sit under a tree for a bit. We like that we can provide a bit of quiet in the middle of a busy city. It is hard work keeping a place like this going, especially when the weather is not cooperating. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basic tools and a lot of patience. It is a simple life working with nature. We take things one season at a time and try to keep the garden looking okay for the local community.
