You can find us at 352/1 Ganeshmala near the Vijay Talkies Chowk. It’s an old part of Narayan Peth and Laxmi Road is always packed with people shopping for everything under the sun. Our shop is inside Canara House and it’s a bit of a haven for anyone who still loves cameras. We spend most of our time looking through small lenses or trying to figure out why a shutter isn't clicking like it should. The shop is full of old camera bodies and parts that we've collected over the years. Some people come in just to talk about photography or to show us an old film camera they found in their attic. It’s a small space and the shelves are pretty crowded with gear and repair tools. The traffic outside at Vijay Talkies Chowk is usually pretty loud but once you step inside it feels a bit quieter. We've been doing this for a long time so we’ve seen photography change from film to digital and everything in between. We still like the old stuff though. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because the parts are hard to find but we tell people that upfront. It’s just how it goes with old tech. If you’re coming down Laxmi Road just look for the landmark near the theater and we are right there in the building. It’s a narrow entrance so keep an eye out.
