Calibration Technician

I’m a Calibration Technician working out of Yavatmal. You can find me at C/O P. D Dagwar in Chapmanwadi. It’s right near the Weekly Market, so it gets pretty crowded on market days. My work is all about measuring and making sure instruments are accurate. It’s a quiet sort of job that requires a lot of patience. I have my tools and my bench set up in a small room. It’s not a big corporate lab. It’s just me and the equipment. People bring in various gauges and meters that need checking. I spend my time looking at scales and adjusting small screws. In a place like Yavatmal 445001, you get to know everyone. Folks stop by the market and then maybe drop off something for me to look at. I’ve been doing this for a while now. I learned the trade through years of practice. It’s not the kind of job where you get rich, but it’s steady. I like the precision of it. When something is perfectly calibrated, it feels right.
