Cafe Chokolade

Our Cafe Chokolade is located on Fergusson College Road, right at the 1st Cross on the back side of Nawab. It is a bit of a hidden spot if you are not familiar with the little lanes around here. FC Road is always busy with students from the nearby college, so we see a lot of young people every day. Most of them come in for the thick chocolate shakes and the cold drinks. The shop itself is not very large at all. We have just a few small tables and chairs where people can sit and talk for a bit. It gets quite noisy with all the student chatter, but it is a nice kind of energy to have around. I am usually the one behind the counter making the drinks. It involves a lot of blending, pouring, and cleaning up spills. We go through a huge amount of chocolate and fresh milk every single day. The floors tend to get a bit sticky from the sugar, so we are constantly mopping things down. We chose this back-side location because it is slightly away from the main road traffic, although you can still hear the cars honking nearby. It is a decent place for a quick break between college classes. We do not have a large staff, just two or three of us who know how the machines work. We keep things very simple and do not try to act like a high-end cafe.
