Buddhist Tzu Chi Charity Foundation

Our office is over in Balewadi High Street, right inside Lotus House at Office-1. It is a really busy part of Pune these days, but we managed to find a quiet corner there for ourselves. We have been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most days involve handling requests or organizing the charity work we do around the city. Since it is a foundation, there is quite a lot of logistics involved. We aren't a big corporate team at all, just a few of us making sure things get where they need to go. The street outside is usually packed with cars and people going to the shops, but inside we just focus on whatever task is at hand. We chose Balewadi because it is easy for people to find us if they need to. If you are looking for S.No 23/6B, that is exactly where we sit. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls or anything. It is mostly just files and a few chairs for when people stop by to talk to us. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff to move, but we manage to make it work. Being in Pune helps because we can reach different parts of the city fairly quickly. We keep it simple and just do the work that needs doing every single day. That is pretty much who we are and how we operate.
