We are located in Pune, specifically near the Dandekar Pool. Our address for British Asian India Foundation is Sn- 130, right near the Takpere House. This part of town is usually quite busy with people and shops. There is always something happening on the street outside our window. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We do not have fancy glass walls or modern furniture. It is just a solid, practical space where we can work without distractions. We have been here for a while now, and people in the area know our faces. We handle different types of projects, but it is all very grounded work. We do not use a lot of technical jargon when we talk. Most of the time, we are just talking to people and trying to figure out how to solve local problems. The building is near the ZP house, which makes it easy to find once you get to the right street. Pune weather is usually okay, but it gets a bit dusty in the summer. We keep the fans running all day to stay cool. It is a small group of us here. We do not have a big hierarchy or anything like that. Whoever is free takes the calls or meets the people who walk in. It is a bit informal, but we get the job done eventually. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, but usually, we wrap up on time. (252 words)
