Our place is at Gate No. 307, specifically sections 7 and 8, along Volkswagen Road in Chakan. It's right in the Nanekarwadi area, which is a big hub for all sorts of industrial activity. If you drive down this way, you'll see a lot of big trucks and workers constantly moving. The work here is steady and focuses on brakes, which is pretty much what the name says. We spend our shifts in a large space, keeping track of production and making sure everything is moving along the line. It’s not a quiet place, there is always some machine humming or something being moved. The road outside can be a real headache during peak hours, especially with all the factory traffic coming from the main gates. We have our routine every day, starting early and making sure everything is in order before the next shift takes over. It’s a practical environment, designed for work rather than looking pretty. There are a lot of people working here from all over the area. We mostly stay focused on the tasks, checking parts and managing the floor. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the warehouse areas, but that’s just part of being in this industry. It’s a massive operation when you look at it, but for us on the ground, it’s just about getting the daily numbers right and making sure the gate is managed.
