Bral Express Services is over at 26 Sadashiv Peth, right on the 1st Main Road near Siddhivinayak Kesar. The street is always full of people moving about, so there is never a dull moment. We have a small office where we handle all the parcels and papers. Usually, the floor is covered with cardboard boxes and rolls of tape. We spend a lot of our time checking addresses and weighing packages on the old scale in the corner. It’s a lot of logistics work, making sure things get on the right truck at the right time. The main road is quite narrow, so parking the delivery vans can be a real headache sometimes. We have a small bench outside where the drivers sit and have their tea while they wait for the next load. The walls inside could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy moving boxes to worry about that. We don't have any fancy tracking screens on the walls, just a few computers and some notebooks where we write everything down. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to get some air from the street. It’s a straightforward business where we just focus on moving things from one place to another without losing anything in the middle. Most of the time, the shop smells like old paper and adhesive tape.
