Bombay Arts

If you head down to Nana Peth and look below the Modern Hospital, you'll find us at Bombay Arts. We are located in the RS Chamber basement area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, watching the hospital and the shops around us change over the years. Our space isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly deal with art and signage, and we've got a lot of history packed into these walls. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of all the materials we use, but that’s part of the job. We aren't trying to be some high-end gallery. We just provide a service to the local community here in Nana Peth. Often, we are working on several different things at once, so the shop can feel a bit crowded. Most of our regulars are people who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't use a lot of fancy words or complicated processes. We just listen to what someone needs and then try to make it happen. It’s a straightforward approach. Being right near the hospital means people use us as a landmark sometimes. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a real workshop, that’s us. We stay pretty busy, but we always have time for a quick chat with anyone who drops by.
