Bolshoi Construction Materials

Our place is out in the Veerasandra Industrial Estate, specifically at 113/2/1 in Warje. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't familiar with the industrial side of town. Bolshoi Construction Materials started out because there was a need for stuff like sand, bricks, and cement nearby. We have a yard that's usually full of trucks coming and going at odd hours. The dust is everywhere, so don’t wear your best clothes if you come to visit us. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the orders and making sure the loaders get the right quantities on the trucks. We handle small orders for home repairs and bigger ones for local builders who are putting up houses around the area. It’s loud, busy, and the phone rings all day long with people asking about prices or delivery times. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. It’s just stacks of materials and the smell of wet concrete. Most of the time, we’re out back checking the inventory or talking to the drivers. The weather affects us a lot, especially when it rains and things get muddy. We just keep our heads down and get the supplies where they need to go. It’s straightforward work. No frills, just building stuff. Sometimes we run out of certain types of gravel, but we get more in as fast as the quarry can send it. We just try to keep the supply moving.
