Bodycote Metallurgical Service India P Ltd. sits over in F-Ii Block, Plot No.48, right in the middle of M.I.D.C. Pimpri. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the smell of grease and the sound of machines humming in the background. Our building is a big, practical space meant for handling metal and heat. Inside, it’s all about the furnaces and the testing equipment. It can get really hot in some sections, especially in the afternoons when everything is running at full capacity. We have a crew that’s used to the grime and the heavy lifting. The floors are concrete and have some stains from years of work, which is pretty much what you expect in a place like this. We don’t spend much time on decorations; the walls are mostly covered with safety signs and shift schedules. Outside, the road is usually lined with tempos and trucks waiting to load or unload parts. The gates are open early, and there’s a steady stream of people in work boots moving around. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes the paperwork gets piled up on the desks in the small office area near the entrance. We just focus on getting the metal treated right and moving the orders out the door. It’s noisy, hot, and messy at times, but it’s the kind of place where real work happens every day.
