Bithelp Foundation

Bithelp Foundation is run out of unit 1204 in Woods Ville, Phase-2. This is over in Jadhavwadi, which is a part of Pune that is growing pretty fast. The office is on the E floor. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, which it often is. We have a lot of computers and spare parts lying around. It looks a bit like a workshop, honestly. We are not really into the whole polished corporate look. We prefer having everything we need within arm's reach. We spend most of our time working on digital projects and helping people understand technology better. It is a lot of sitting and typing. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it is dark outside. The view from the 12th floor is actually quite good; you can see a lot of the new buildings coming up in Jadhavwadi. We do not have a front desk or a secretary. Usually, someone is just hunched over a screen when a visitor walks in. We try to keep things simple. No complicated processes or long meetings. If something needs doing, we just talk about it and then do it. It is a small team, so we all know what is going on. We like being in this part of Pune. It is a bit quieter than the city center, which helps us focus on the technical side of our work.
