Bidri Sales Corporation

Bidri Sales Corporation is at 37/38 Bhawani Peth in Saijpur Bogha, right by the Memco Tollnanak Char Rasta and near Shitaladevi Chowk. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always noise from the traffic and horns honking outside our door. We deal with sales and distribution from this spot. The warehouse is packed with boxes and we often have to move things around just to find what we need. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have a system that works for us. We've got a small counter where people can come in and ask about what we have in stock. Usually, the phone is ringing or someone is out back loading a truck. We don't spend much money on making the place look pretty because that doesn't really matter for what we do. It’s a practical space for a practical business. We’ve been around this part of Saijpur Bogha for years, so we know the other shop owners and the tea stall guys nearby. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things up to the ceiling, which makes it a bit cramped. It gets dusty with all the boxes moving in and out, but we try to sweep up when we can. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to get them out the door as fast as the traffic allows. There’s no point in rushing if the trucks are just going to sit at the Tollnanak anyway. We just keep our heads down and keep moving the boxes until the work for the day is done.
