Cafe Dream Land

Cafe Dream Land is over at Shop No 1 in Omkar Height, right in the Narhe Breeze area near Bhumkar Chowk. It is a small spot we started because we wanted a place where people could just sit for a bit. The chowk is always so noisy and full of traffic, so having a shop here is busy but we like the energy. We have a few tables and some basic chairs. Nothing fancy or expensive. We make tea and snacks throughout the day. My brother handles the billing while I usually stay in the back area. Sometimes the milk delivery comes late and we have to wait around, which is frustrating. We try to keep the place tidy but it gets dusty fast with the road right there. Most of our regulars live in the apartments nearby or work in the small offices around Narhe. We don't have a huge menu because the kitchen is tiny. We just do what we can. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front glass really hard so it gets quite warm inside. We bought a couple of extra fans last month to help with that. It is a simple life running a cafe. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors and making sure the floor is swept. It is not some big corporate chain, just a local shop where we work every day to keep things going.
