If you come down to the Moraya Industrial Complex in Bhosari, you’ll find us at Gala No. 107. We’re right in the T Block of the MIDC area in Pune. Being near the Poly Grass Hockey Stadium is helpful when giving directions, though it can get a bit crowded when there’s a match or practice going on. Vikas Enterprises is basically a workshop and an office rolled into one. It’s noisy because of all the other units around us, but you get used to the sound of machines and trucks after a week. We’ve got a small team and we all do a bit of everything. One minute I might be checking an invoice and the next I’m helping load a crate onto a tempo. The gala isn’t very big, so we have to be very organized with how we stack our stock. We don't have air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that keep the air moving. Pune gets quite warm, but the breeze from the open shutter helps a bit. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. It’s a tough environment but there’s a good sense of community among the business owners here. We all help each other out if someone needs a tool or an extra hand. It's not fancy, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it's where we do our work. We just show up, do the job, and go home.
