Techno Enterprises

Techno Enterprises is tucked away at Plot No. W-265 in J Block of the MIDC in Bhosari. Pune gets really dusty in this section, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. Our unit is basically one large room where everything happens at once. You can hear the sounds of metal hitting metal from the street. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the building shows its age, but it serves its purpose. There are usually stacks of raw materials near the entrance waiting to be processed. We don't have many visitors, mostly just delivery drivers and the occasional person looking for work. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there. We have a couple of fans that wobble a bit but they help when it gets stuffy inside. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we try to sweep up the metal bits every evening before we lock up. J Block is a busy area, so there is always some noise from the other factories nearby. We eat our lunch quickly and get back to it. Sometimes the water supply is a bit slow, so we keep a big drum filled up just in case. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't worry much about how the place looks to outsiders as long as the work is getting done properly on the tables. It is a long day but we are used to it.
