Shree Industries

We spend most of our days over at Unit 15-b in the Rajgurunagar Industrial Co-op Society. It’s part of the T Block here in MIDC, Bhosari. If you know Pune, you know how busy this industrial area gets. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters opening all down the line. Our space is tucked away in 106/2. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We’ve been here for a good while now. The roads get pretty crowded around lunch when everyone comes out. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, but that’s just how it is in the MIDC. We keep our tools organized as much as we can, though things usually get messy by the afternoon. It’s a lot of work keeping up with everything. We drink tea from the small stall at the corner of the society. The neighbors are mostly doing similar work, so it's a lot of metal sounds and trucks moving around. We don't have a big front desk or anything like that. People just walk in through the main door. It’s dusty work but it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on finishing what’s on the table for the day. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just the address on the wall. We like it that way because it is practical for us. By the time we lock up, the sun is usually going down over the factory roofs.
