Shambhoo Fabrication

The shop is tucked away at Shop No. 12 in Jay Ganesh Samrajya, right here in Bhosari. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the welding machine humming or see sparks flying through the door. Shambhoo Fabrication isn't a huge place, but we fit a lot of work into these four walls. Most days involve measuring iron rods, cutting sheets, or grinding down rough edges until they’re smooth enough. We deal with a lot of dust and the heat from the torch, which is just part of the job. Bhosari is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street mixing with our own work sounds. We don’t have a receptionist or anyone to answer phones professionally. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes his hands on a rag and picks it up. Some mornings are slow, giving us time to organize the scrap pile, but then three jobs come in at once and it’s a rush until late evening. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we started, but the shop feels the same. It’s a bit messy with half-finished gates or window grills leaning against the walls. We just like making things that stay strong. There’s something good about finishing a heavy frame and seeing it ready to go out. We don’t do much talking; we just get the welding done and move to the next thing.
