Orchid Power

Orchid Power is based out of Bhosari, specifically in E Building of the Swami Samarth Society. We are in Flat No. 15, which is just a regular residential flat we converted for our work. Working in Bhosari means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity, but our little corner in the society is actually quite calm. We spend most of our time dealing with power systems and related equipment. It’s not the kind of place with a big neon sign out front. Instead, you just walk up the stairs and look for our door. The space is a bit tight when we get a large shipment of batteries or parts in, and we often have to shuffle boxes around to make room for everyone to sit. We’ve been in this building for some time now and the society members are friendly enough. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s honest work and we don’t spend much on making the office look fancy because that’s not really what matters to us. We just focus on getting the technical side right and keeping the records straight. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to packing up orders. It works for us and we like the practical feel of the place.
