Demech Chemical

Our workplace is at T-77 in the Bhosari area. Demech Chemical is not a place with lots of bells and whistles. It is a plain industrial unit where we store and handle various chemicals. The warehouse can get quite chilly during the rainy season, and the concrete floors are always a bit hard on the feet. We spend most of the day moving containers around and making sure every drum has the right tag on it. It is a quiet sort of job compared to the loud workshops down the street. We do not have many visitors, just the occasional truck driver coming to pick up a load. There is always a bit of paperwork to do, which we usually handle on a small desk tucked in the corner. Bhosari is a good location for this kind of thing because the roads are wide enough for the big lorries. We have been here for a long time and the routine stays pretty much the same every week. Sometimes we stand outside for a few minutes just to get some fresh air and see what is happening in the street. We do not do any big advertising; people who need what we have already know where to find us. It is just a steady, quiet business and we are happy to keep it that way. We just focus on keeping the stock right and the warehouse organized.
