We’re over at W 93 in the S Block of MIDC Bhosari. Amtek Auto Pressings Exports Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this same spot for quite some time now. Bhosari is a busy place, especially with all the auto parts moving around. Our factory floor is where everything happens. It’s loud and busy from morning until evening. We have the big presses going and people moving stuff around constantly. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit and tie. Most of us are in work clothes and have grease on our hands by noon. We do export work, which means we have to be careful with the details, but we’re still just a local crew at heart. The office is just a small corner of the building where we keep the paperwork. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just want to make sure the parts we press are right. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them. That’s just life in a factory. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We just keep working and trying to do a solid job every day. It's a lot of noise and heat, but we are used to it by now. We don't do much marketing, we just ship the boxes.
