We are based in the industrial area of Bhosari, at S-20/3. It’s a typical industrial block with lots of small units like ours. Every morning the whole area starts humming with machines. We do various industrial jobs here. There’s a lot of metalwork and machining involved in our daily routine. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and we have to be careful where we step. It’s hot in the summer, especially with the machines running all day long. We have a small group of guys who have been here for years. We know each other's ways. It’s not a quiet office job at all. We wear heavy boots and work clothes that get greasy and worn out quickly. We handle parts and components for other businesses. Sometimes we get a rush order and have to work through the weekend. That’s just the nature of manufacturing in Bhosari. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk into the shed and find someone. We keep our tools organized on the walls, though they always seem to wander off when someone is in a hurry. We’ve seen many other shops come and go in this section of the industrial estate over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. No frills, just hard work and metal. The tea guy comes around twice a day.
