Divgi Metalwares Pvt. Ltd. sits out at Gat No. 139-B in Village Shivare. Being on the Pune-Satara Road means we see a lot of long-distance trucks passing by all day and night. The location is a bit outside the main city hustle, which is nice in some ways, though getting supplies delivered can take a little longer. Our facility is a mix of old and new sections as we’ve added bits and pieces over the years. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or dust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. It’s a place where people work hard and don't mind getting their hands dirty. We have a small office section, but most of us are out on the floor for the better part of the day. The air feels a bit fresher out here in Shivare than it does in the middle of Pune, especially in the early mornings when the mist is still hanging over the road. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth in the local area seems to do the job well enough. Most of the people working here live in the nearby villages and have been with us for a long time. We have a routine that works for us, and we don't see any reason to change it just to look more professional. It’s just a regular metal shop doing what needs to be done.
