Bharat Traders

Bharat Traders is based out of Purandar Colony at 81/4, which is in the Thrimurti Nagar area of Kothrud. If you know Kothrud, you know the lanes can be a bit confusing if you’re not from here. Our trading business operates out of a small storefront where we keep our inventory. It’s a lot of boxes and crates stacked up, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down. We deal with various goods and supplies that come in from the main distributors. The morning is usually our busiest time because that’s when the delivery vans try to squeeze through the colony roads before the traffic gets heavy. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the billing and talk to customers who stop by. It’s a very local vibe, and we often end up chatting with the people living in the colony about the weather or the local news. The shop isn't fancy, just a practical place to store things and do business. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the address on the door and our name. Sometimes we run out of space and have to rearrange everything just to get one box from the back. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists, but it keeps us busy. We like being in Kothrud because everything we need is just a short walk away, including the tea stall where we go every afternoon. We have been in this spot for several years now.
