Bharat Saumpura

Bharat Saumpura is located over on the Kothi Road in the Anandpura area. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the Pune Sinhagad Road side, but we have been at this Vadodara 23 location for a long time. The office is a simple place where we handle our daily business. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us working together. We’ve got our desks set up in a way that allows us to talk to each other without having to get up. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic from the main road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have fancy art on the walls or expensive rugs. It’s a functional space with metal cabinets and a lot of folders. We spend most of our time answering calls and writing things down in ledgers. It feels like an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We aren't trying to be the most modern office in the city. We just want to get through our tasks and make sure everything is in order. Sometimes the tea man from down the street brings us a tray in the afternoon. We take a break, chat for a bit, and then get back to it. It’s a steady pace. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we help each other out when someone needs a hand.
