Bhanuben Nanavati Coll Of Architecture For Women

We've been over here in Karve Nagar Rhb Colony for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot in Pune, but the Bhanuben Nanavati Coll Of Architecture For Women has its own rhythm. Usually, you’ll see students carrying big drawing boards or models made of foam board and glue around the campus. It is a place where women come to learn the ropes of building and design. We don’t have fancy slogans. Mostly, it’s just faculty and students working through long afternoons. The Rhb Colony area is quite familiar to us by now, with the local shops and the way the light hits the drafting tables in the late afternoon. Sometimes the fans are buzzing and you can hear the pens scratching on paper. It isn’t always quiet, especially when a submission deadline is coming up. People know us as the place where the future architects are getting their start. We deal with real stuff here, like structural loads and site planning, not just pretty pictures. The neighborhood has changed over the years, but the focus inside our walls stays pretty much the same. It’s about getting the work done and making sure everyone understands how a building actually stays up. We’re just part of the local landscape here, tucked away in this corner of Pune, doing what we do every day without much fuss. If you walk by, you’ll probably see someone measuring something or arguing over a floor plan. That is just the way it goes here.
