If you’re looking for us, we’re right at Katraj Revdi Bazar, right across from Bhushan Society. You’ll see the cars lined up outside. At Bhakti Car Care, there’s always the smell of engine oil and old tires in the air. It’s a messy job, but someone has to do it. My hands are usually stained with grease by noon, and I’ve given up on keeping my clothes clean. We have a small office area where we keep the keys and the bills, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s loud because of the air compressors and the tools clanking against metal. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been with me since we opened. We don't say much to each other during the day because we already know what needs to be done. The traffic in the bazar is always a bit much, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions, and we help them out. We don’t have a waiting room with a TV or free coffee. Most folks just stand around and watch us work or go get a tea nearby while they wait. We just focus on fixing what’s broken and getting the cars back on the road. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
