Better Living

Better Living is located over at Plot Number 16 in the Shri Shivaji Co-op Housing Society. It’s just off Senapati Bapat Road, which is a fairly easy place for people to find once they get off the main marg. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. The shop is filled with various things for the home, mostly items that make a house feel more finished. We aren't a giant department store; it’s more of a local place where you can walk in and see what’s on the shelves. Sometimes we have a lot of one thing and other times we’re waiting for a delivery to arrive. It’s just the two of us usually, keeping things running and helping people find what they need. The atmosphere is pretty quiet compared to the main road, which we appreciate. We don't do much advertising because most people just hear about us from their neighbors in the society or nearby. We try to keep the shop organized, but with new items coming in, things can get a bit cluttered in the corners. It’s a practical business. We pick items that we think people around here will actually use. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. We don't have any big promises, just a small shop where we try to keep things useful and affordable for everyone who stops by.
