Best Cushion The

Over at Tirupati Apartments in Rasta Peth, we’ve been working on cushions for quite some time. You can find us right at Din Bandhu Chowk. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with foam, fabric, and stuffing materials. The Best Cushion is the name on the board, though most people just know us as the place to fix their old sofas or get new pads for their chairs. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working with our hands. Some days the floor is covered in scrap cloth and thread, but that's how a workshop looks. People bring in their worn-out cushions that have gone flat, and we see what we can do to make them comfortable again. Rasta Peth is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside the door. We don't spend much time on fancy displays. We’d rather spend that time finishing a job for someone who needs their furniture back by the weekend. We handle different types of materials, some soft, some firm. It depends on what the customer wants for their home. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get the stitching exactly right, but we don't like to rush things if it means it won't last. It’s simple work, but it’s what we know how to do well. The shop address is 442/443, and you can see us there most days of the week just cutting and sewing. It’s a bit noisy with the machines, but we don't mind the work at all.
