Our office for Bax Global India Pvt Ltd, which some people know as Schenker Ind. Pvt. Ltd., is located in Old Town, Bhubaneswar. We are right near the V.E.M. School on Mahatab Road. If you find the Anni House Chhak, you’re basically at our doorstep at Plot No 48. It’s a historic part of Orissa, so the streets can be a bit narrow and crowded. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood knows us. The sound of the school nearby is something we hear every day. Our workspace is pretty plain. We have desks, some old filing cabinets, and the usual computers. We deal with a lot of international and local shipping stuff, so there is always some document that needs signing or a shipment to track. We aren't a fancy office with glass walls or anything. It feels more like a home that turned into a workplace. We talk to people in the local language and just try to get the logistics sorted out without any drama. Sometimes the rain in Bhubaneswar makes things a bit messy, but we just keep moving. It is a lot of phone calls and checking the clock. We just want to make sure the cargo gets where it belongs. That’s the long and short of it. We don't have time for fancy talk, just the shipping logs and the daily schedule.
