Woodn Choice

Our workshop is located at S. No. 274, right near Chandni Chowk in Bavdhan. It’s a spot that’s easy to get to if you’re coming off the main road. Woodn Choice is basically a place where we cut, sand, and finish timber all day long. The air is always full of sawdust, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few big saws and a lot of hand tools that have been used for years. We don’t make anything mass-produced in a factory. It’s just a few of us working on benches. People come to us when they need a table or a cupboard that fits a specific corner of their house. We spend a lot of time talking about different kinds of wood and which ones will last the longest without warping. The shop isn't very pretty; it's got concrete floors and the walls are covered in sketches and measurements written in pencil. Sometimes the noise from the traffic at Chandni Chowk gets loud, but we usually have our own machines running anyway. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. If you want to see what we're doing, you just walk into the back where the wood is stacked. We’ve been in Bavdhan for a bit now and most of our customers are just people from the local apartments. We just try to make things that won't fall apart after a year or two of use and we keep our tools sharp for the next day's work.
